Privacy Policy

This policy explains what TixxHub collects, why, and how we handle it. We aim to collect only what we need to sell and validate tickets.

1. What we collect

When you buy a ticket, we collect the phone number you provide, the Mobile Money number used for payment, the quantity and type of ticket, and any details an event asks for at checkout (for example a name or email). If you create an account, we collect your email address. We also store the tickets issued to you and their check-in status.

2. Payment information

Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not see or store your Mobile Money PIN or full payment credentials — those are handled by Paystack under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of whether a payment succeeded and a reference for the transaction.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to process payments, deliver tickets by SMS and on-screen, validate entry at events, show you your purchase history if you sign in, and contact you about a ticket or event you bought. Sign-in codes are sent by email.

4. Sharing

We share information with the service providers that make TixxHub work: Paystack (payments), our SMS provider (ticket delivery), and our email provider (sign-in codes and receipts). We share the minimum needed for each to do its job. Event organizers can see the attendee and ticket information for their own events. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Retention

We keep purchase and ticket records for as long as needed to run events, support buyers, and meet legal or accounting obligations, after which we remove or anonymize them.

6. Your choices

You can buy as a guest without creating an account. If you have an account, you can update your name in your profile and request deletion of your account by contacting us. Deleting an account does not remove records we must keep for a completed transaction.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and hashed sign-in codes and session tokens. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

8. Children

TixxHub is intended for adults purchasing tickets. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
